Newark Liberty Airport Terminal One, NJ

FUN FACTS : We were honored to supply poured in place terrazzo flooring from Master Terrazzo Technologies for the monumental new Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport, which replaced the existing Terminal A with a new 1 million-square-foot, 33-gate domestic terminal designed to meet the increasing volume and needs of travelers for years to come.Designed by Grimshaw as Design Architect and STV as executive architect/engineer, for the joint venture team of Tutor Perini/Parsons.The project was completed in early 2023 with Terrazzo installation by Yorie Tile and Terrazzo.

New Terminal A includes expanded amenities, a more efficient check-in process and ample space for passengers to pass through the security screening process quickly and efficiently. For the Port Authority, Terminal A represents the first step in the rebuilding of Newark Airport, work that will continue with the next major project to replace the aging 1996 vintage AirTrain monorail with a new $2 billion system.
